Our yearly charity event supporting the purchase of crucial equipment for health care in our community.
Great golf for a great cause, attracting 200+ corporate executives, business owners, cottagers, residents, donors and volunteers. Since its inception, the tournament has netted over one million dollars for the hospital and health care facilities in Haliburton County.
Matt Duchene Charity Golf Classic 2026
The 2026 Matt Duchene Charity Golf Classic was an incredible success, raising more than $314,000 in support of local healthcare.
Thank you to the stellar organizing committee - Troy Austen, Vince Duchene, Susannah Moylan, Melanie Blodgett, Dawn Elliot, David Blodgett and Michelle Parker - along with our sponsors, golfers, donors, volunteers, auction contributors, and everyone along the way who helped make this event a tremendous success.
This remarkable achievement is possible thanks to the community who once again rallied to make this event a cornerstone fundraiser for the HHHS Foundation. MC Rick Lowes chatted with Matt Duchene and kept the evening program moving, while auctioneer Keith Moore brought out the best in friendly competition during the live auction action. Heartfelt thanks to the entire Duchene family - Matt, Ashley, Vince, Chris, Emile and Jane for dedicating their heart and soul to enhancing healthcare resources for the County. A special shoutout to Beau, Jaymes and Ellie Duchene for their beautiful rendition of ‘Oh Canada’, which had everyone smiling and joining in.
